I have a master in Physics from the University of Florence, a master in Quantitative Finance from Bocconi University and a PhD in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute and the University of Amsterdam.
I am an associate professor in economics (Maitre de conference, HDR) at the Université Côte d’Azur (UniCA), and member of the GREDEG (Groupe de Recherche en Economie, Droit et Gestion) research laboratory of CNRS (Unité Mixte de Rechèrche 7321).

I hold the chair Collegium of Advanced Studies of the IDEX Universite’ Cote d’Azur with the project PHASES (Social Phase Transitions), call ANR15-IDEX-01.
Since 1st October 2025 I am the coordinator of the project ABSolEU (Paving the way for an ABS recycling revolution in the EU) HORIZON-CL4-2021-RESILIENCE-01 call.
The main areas of my research:
– economic change and transitions of collective behaviours
– financial markets dynamics, investment decisions, and behavioural asset pricing
– green transitions from the bottom-up, applied to energy sources competition
– the circular economy, modeled with diffusion models and network structure
– evolutionary dynamics of preferences: temptation and honesty
